Botox® is a purified protein (not a dermal filler) that relaxes wrinkle-causing muscles, creating a smoothed and improved appearance. It involves a small injection into the muscle to block nerve impulses that trigger muscle contractions. It is a simple, quick, and minimally invasive treatment that delivers results. Botox® is not permanent and the effects are seen 3-10 days following treatment.
Cosmetic Botox treatment can prevent and soften fine lines and wrinkles caused by the contraction of facial muscles.
