Starting from your first visit with us, our goal is to make sure your visit is a pleasant one, and to develop a trusting, life-long relationship with you.

At your first visit, please arrive 10 minutes early and relax in our lobby while we sort out your paperwork. If you have your medical and dental records, please bring them with you at this time so we can review it together.
We would like to request your medical and dental history in order to ensure that your care is tailored to address any of your unique needs. This includes health conditions and medications, as well as past dental X-rays you may have. If these are at your previous dental clinic, we are more than happy to request your records from them on your behalf. If you have any special needs, such as wheelchair accessibility or if you would like to have sedation during your dental visits, please let us know.
If you have Dental Insurance, we would be glad to take your information including yearly limits and exclusions to help you utilize any benefits on your plan. We understand that making insurance claims can be complicated, but our team is available and eager to help guide you through the process, including sending pre-authorizations to your insurance company at your request.
Once it is time for your appointment, you will be welcomed into our dental operatory where your dentist can meet you, have a chat about what brought you in to see us. If the matter is urgent, we will aim to find a solution on the same day, if possible.
At your visit, we will perform an exam including bite analysis, jaw joint evaluation, oral cancer screening, gum (periodontal) status, and recording your existing dental work including the presence of fillings, crowns, implants, dentures, and visible decay, infection, cracks, wear, and broken teeth. We will also obtain any necessary imaging such as X-rays and intra-oral photographs in order to assess what cannot be easily seen with the naked eye, including the presence of dental decay in between teeth, the margins of fillings and crowns, infection in the jaw, and the health of the sinuses and jawbones and presence of cysts and pathology. Finally, we will perform an intra-oral scan to let us view your teeth in 3D on our monitors.
Once we have gathered all of our information, your dentist will sit down with you to guide you through our findings. We will carefully explain in detail what everything means, if anything requires urgent attention, what treatment options are out there.
